Meet Giles, the driving force behind Policy Analysis Lab. As an applied economist, Giles has a knack for using cutting-edge data science to shed light on complex policy issues. His journey has taken him across the globe, where he’s tackled everything from bolstering democratic institutions to modelling climate change risks on road infrastructure projects.
Giles doesn’t just stick to one lane – he’s equally at home crunching numbers for social policies, advising on road engineering projects, or diving into the intricacies of parliamentary budget oversight.
This diverse background has turned Giles into a ‘swiss army knife’ of applied policy analysis, making him able to bring fresh perspectives to a wide range of policy challenges.
At Policy Analysis Lab, he leads a small team of analysts to help clients craft smarter, data-driven public policy solutions.
